I recently purchased some silver filament so to give it a little test I designed this axe head and handle. The handle is printed using wood filament and the two pieces can either be friction fitted or superglued together. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 1.5mm Infill: 30 Notes: Axe Head - Orient so that the "blade" is up in the air and the back is on the build plate, this does not need any supports because the curve angle of the hole. Axe Handle - This will need some support because the part where the head and handle interface is raised slightly, but it is easily removed and actually helps with the friction fit.
