Little 360 magnetic led lamp (torch) with 18650
thingiverse
I use a Samsung 18650 battery rated at 2600mAh and 3.4V to power my led torch. The torch contains 13 SMD LEDs with a 3W rating each; you can find them on Amazon at https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B07BVTNS6Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. For the cable, I reused old Arduino jumpers and didn't include any resistance since the battery voltage matches that of the LEDs. Magnets are inserted into the plug to secure it in place. All SMD LEDs are embedded within the case after soldering is complete. To activate the light, you'll need to screw the base, which will be connected to a cable. Each LED is 3W and connected in parallel; see the circuit diagram for more details. The battery life of my torch is approximately 20 minutes. To extend battery life, add resistors (1-10 ohms) before each LED, but keep in mind that this will reduce light output.
