Replacement gears for 'LitterMaid Multi-Cat Self-Cleaning Litter Box' - This is the second generation box with the plastic rake that can be removed by pushing 2 buttons. If your rake gets stuck, particularly at the ends of the box and just makes a loud snapping noise rather than stopping and reversing like it should it is likely that your gears are worn. I printed 2 other gears from here but the teeth didn't mesh quite right with the small gear. Part of the problem being that my small gear was also worn down. So I made both gears with the correct tooth count and pitch and they mesh correctly. They appear to mesh with the original gears as well, but no promises since both or mine are worn down. Also, instead of the original roll pins to hold them in place I am using 2.5mm bolts screwed into the plastic and a nut on the far side. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F14J7X8 The original main gear was 6mm tall on the teeth, I made this one 8mm tall to match the spur gear. Should give it more surface area at the pressure point and wear less. The other change was I included the spacer that went between the large gear and the metal bracket. Included are pictures of the box it fits, the gears in the scooper bar, and the whole bar in case you got yours apart and can't remember how it all lays. The black connector in the cable that powers the motor is not normally included, I snipped the wire so I could take the motor to my bench and measure and test fit everything. Also added pictures of the old gears, see how the spur gear is worn into and is dipped in on the sides. The main gear is missing the tips of several teeth and others are sharpened to points verse the angled profile they should have. Note: This is my first design using fusion360 and once you get past the basics it is amazingly easy to use.
