After upgrading from the Litter Robot 2 to the Open Air, I fell deeply in love with almost every aspect of the upgrade except for one glaring issue: the "Open Air" part translates literally into "Litter scattered everywhere". I invested in the official Open Air enclosure, but unfortunately, it proved completely worthless. It seems the manufacturer deliberately kept it small to preserve the "open air" feature, but I felt like my money was squandered. Determined to find a solution, I decided to take matters into my own hands and build something that could be easily attached or removed as needed. A month has now passed since I implemented this DIY fix, and I'm thrilled to report that it's been a complete success. The installation process went smoothly without any slipping or other issues, and daily usage by our two cats has caused no trouble whatsoever. This homemade solution has significantly reduced the amount of litter scattered around while they're using it.
