I've managed to snag one of those five-hundred-dollar Litter Robots that seem to have some pretty questionable logic. My tiny five-pound kitty gets completely ignored, while the fat one leaves it unattended for four minutes without triggering a cycle - it's just bizarre. I figured I'd give this project a shot and create a replacement board with a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and a few sensors.
