Use it to fine-tune factors such as overall lithophane thickness and see the difference between various filaments. For instance, holding it under a low-intensity light source might reveal that a 3mm thick lithophane is ideal. Conversely, placing it in front of a window with direct sunlight may indicate that you need a lithophane 6mm thick.
