Human: lithophane was printed out of white PLA with a brim, which proved to be essential for achieving optimal results. It's best to print these models at 90 degrees on the print bed, as this minimizes movement during the top layers and reduces the likelihood of errors due to the bed's forward and backward motion. I created the image using Paint, utilizing the heart shape tool to craft a unique design. The image was then seamlessly imported into Cura, where I specified a 3mm thickness and a width of 120mm. To ensure a smooth print, I carefully selected a light color for the outside of the heart, which would allow it to print thinly. Once printed, I used snips to precisely trim out the heart shape. The stand was printed in yellow PLA, while the candle itself was sourced from Amazon - a battery-powered tea light that eliminates the risk of fires. The inclusion of "tea light" and "heart" in the CAD files merely serves as a visual representation of this creative idea.
