This is a lithophane stand designed to hold either a 4x6 or a 5x7 lithophane in a frame. The package includes two frames - one solid 4x6 piece and one split 5x7 piece that can be glued together. The 5x7 frame was printed in two pieces due to the limited size of my print bed. Inside both frames, there's a lip for applying glue to secure the lithophane in place. One edge on each frame is flat and rectangular, designed to fit snugly into the stand's slot with a 5-degree backward angle. The stand's slot is tight enough to hold the frame semi-permanently in place. This stand is meant to be used with a real candle, as the distance between the candle base and the lithophane allows for an ideal viewing experience. So far, tests have shown no damage from heat exposure, and the candle provides ample light to illuminate the lithophane in even the darkest rooms. Photos are included of both dark and lighter photos being illuminated by the candlelight. The stand's design ensures that the lithophane is lit up evenly, starting with the middle and top sections when the candle is first lit, gradually illuminating the entire piece as it burns down.
