Lithophane Stand
thingiverse
For a subtle glow, natural light is preferable to electric night lights; simply place a lithophane near a window. A simple stand suits curved lithophanes with radii of 120-150mm and thickness of 2.5mm, especially when printed in flexible ABS. Top and bottom stands or just bottom ones can be used according to preference. This particular stand was made using PolyWood filament from Polymakr on an Afinia printer with PLA profile, "Fine" speed, and 0.3mm layers. The lithophane of parents' wedding photo was generated through PhotoToMesh and printed in Octave natural ABS on the same Afinia printer with "Fast" speed and 0.20mm layers. You can edit the stand design on Tinkercad at https://tinkercad.com/things/kukqLSAmjSw, which incorporates the "Hi-Res Tube Segment" by Anthony Graglia from Shape Generator.
