My Cura 3.6 profile helps me create standard 100mm nightlight lithophanes on my mostly stock Monoprice Maker Select v2. The lithos are meant to be placed standing up lengthwise along the Y-axis, which is now different from the video posted. After some complete rebuilds, I weighed things and found that the print head weighs over 50% less than the bed. So, I simply rotated things by 90 degrees. I use 3DP to create this litho, but I opt for a 1.2mm minimum thickness as it creates a single extrusion on the infill. For instance, it produces one wall and then one single infill pass. This approach results in very few retractions and movements, which means more time the printer is actually printing.
