Lithophane Photo Drum

This is a compilation of several components. The core is the drum from a Lithophane style design, which can be customized with a photograph through remodelling (http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/). A stepper motor drives the gear, and the Lithophane drum is attached to the gear platform using glue. The upper lid can simply be placed loosely. Using a potentiometer, the revolutions per minute can be adjusted slightly. The power supply chosen is a USB power supply with an output of about 2000mA. A USB cable was cut off, and the LED is not controlled by Arduino but directly from the power supply. To prevent overheating, an LM2596S DC-DC step-down adapter was used, with the voltage limited to approximately 3.6 volts. Anything above this can be too bright and consume excessive energy. Required components include: 1. Potentiometer (10kOhm) 2. On-Off switch, which may need to be adapted for AnschaltboxOn-Off and -Middle 3. Six ball bearings (626-ZZ) 4. Stepper motor (28BYJ-48 ULN2003 5V Stepmotor + ULN2003 Driver) 5. Miscellaneous materials.
