Lithophane lamp (LED Stripe)

This is my first design that I printed myself :)\r\n\r\nI was drawn to the idea of printing an image as a lithophane. The only problem with a lithophane is that it requires a light source. So, I combined a LED strip with a lithophane and created a lamp :)\r\n\r\nThe LED strip used is a IKEA LEDBERG (https://www.ikea.com/de/de/catalog/products/70359694/). It comes in two different versions - white and colored (the color can be changed by pressing a button).\r\n\r\nIt's also possible to use other strips with similar sizes. The design files for Autodesk Inventor are included, allowing you to modify them to fit other strips as well. For example, I've included an *.stl file for a larger cable that was used on a Livarno Lux strip (https://www.lidl.de/de/livarno-lux-sensor-lichtband/p254828). This was a special offer at the Lidl supermarket in Germany during December 2018. The only modification made to the base was increasing its width with a file of the connector holder.\r\n\r\nDuring the design process, it was essential for me to secure the strip without using glue or other parts. I created a holder for the strip's connector with a cord grip on the underside of the base plate. The end of the strip is secured in place by applying pressure in a clamp.\r\n\r\nA notable feature of 3D printing can be seen in the fixation for the cord grip. The nuts are arranged in a hexagonal pattern, allowing you to properly secure the cable.\r\n\r\nThe base plate needs to be printed with supports. Cura offers tree support here, which worked perfectly for me. A picture of the printed supports is included.\r\n\r\nFor the lithophane, I was inspired by jmhong's Customizable cylinder lithophane lamp (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:539619).\r\n\r\nI used his webpage (http://maker.dongguk.edu/cylinder_lithophane/index.html) to generate the lithophane and achieved excellent printed results.\r\n\r\nI'd like to thank jmhong for this software :)\r\n\r\nThe lithophane was generated with the following settings:\r\n\r\nInner Radius: 58.3\r\nBase Thickness: 0.8\r\nFront Thickness: 1.2\r\nSmoothing: 5\r\nSize: 1024x325\r\n\r\nIt's essential to turn the picture into monochrome and increase the contrast. The webpage creates the lithophane in a way that light areas will be thinly printed, so it makes no sense to invert the picture.\r\n\r\nI verified the correct settings by loading the generated *.stl file into Autodesk Inventor and measuring its dimensions. With these described settings, the lithophane should be turnable (the one in the base and top cover) and have some vertical space.
