Lithophane Gradient
thingiverse
I'm enthusiastic about crafting lithophanes, and my journey began with White and Off-White filaments - they truly delivered! Next, I wanted to experiment with other colorful options, but I wasn't certain how opaque some of them would be. To tackle this challenge, I created a black and white gradient image and utilized the lithophanemaker.com platform to generate an STL file. This fantastic tool allows users to specify minimum and maximum thickness settings, enabling adjustments for optimal filament opacity. The accompanying .txt files detail the parameters I employed for both thick and thin versions. I highly recommend printing the thicker version initially; however, if you fail to notice any variation in shade among some of the denser squares, try switching to the thinner version instead.
With this file you will be able to print Lithophane Gradient with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Lithophane Gradient.
