Lithophane Frame
thingiverse
So here's my first upload on this platform, having previously tried out 3dthingyverse where users seemed to struggle with downloading.\r\n\r\nThe frame shown in the images is of a specific sized lithophane; however, I've included three different sizes for your convenience:\r\n\r\n100mm x 100mm\r\n\r\n150mm x 150mm\r\n\r\n200mm x 200mm\r\n\r\nI've also allowed for all lithophanes to be a width of up to 3.5mm and have a 3mm border. If you use the 3dprocks website like I do, the 3mm border should be automatically included in the 100mm examples.\r\n\r\nI haven't had a chance to test these out yet, so if there are any issues, please don't hesitate to let me know.\r\n\r\nAs you can see, it requires a bit of effort. I secured the back with adhesive reflective tape available at most hardware stores. The LED's simply need to be cut down to size; just make sure to leave enough space for opening and closing the lid - I left 15mm for this purpose.\r\n\r\nI think that's everything, enjoy, and feel free to share your own photos of the final printed frames. This was created with the intention of making a small collage.
