I created a Lithophane Cube for 100mm lithophanes using 4mm thick lithophanes that required no support during printing. A link to the $12 LED strip from Amazon is available at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0744H436V/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. With this specific LED, soldering or cutting/drilling becomes unnecessary; I simply used zip ties to attach the LED strip.
