Lithophane Calibrator - Parametric Grid

Lithophane Calibrator - Parametric Grid

Thomas Pmaxuw's Lithophane Filament Calibrator is an exemplary concept that embodies simplicity in its design. He skillfully crafted a straightforward wedge design to achieve his goal. The idea revolves around printing different thicknesses of a given material to determine the optimal range required to create a Lithophane. This notion is both simple and impressive, and the model's execution is flawless. That being said, I couldn't resist the urge to innovate. My version is built from scratch using OpenSCAD, incorporating the ability to configure printed thicknesses. The labels are also integrated into the model, eliminating the need for an additional piece to display measurements. While the uploaded models can be beneficial, those with some experience in OpenSCAD or willing to explore the Customizer can modify numerous parameters of this model to suit their needs. Please refer to the information below for instructions on building and configuring this model. If you decide to print this model, I would appreciate seeing your results. Additionally, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I would like to extend my gratitude to Thomas Pmaxuw for inspiring this model.
