Lithophane base for Aukey LED

thingiverse

This is my very first Thingiverse post. I thought there might be a few people out there who would appreciate this lithophane base and lithophane settings that I use. I've attached the settings for my lithos. I'll post another Thingiverse model for a Bluetooth LED along with a link to purchase it. This Thingiverse model works with: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AJ7F14I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0754DHB2N/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. There might be a couple of other lights with the same dimensions. I used AutoCAD 2015 to create the designs. One is exactly the same diameter as the metal base and the other fits my lithophane settings perfectly (102.5mm). I used Photoshop to create three levels and added a 2mm gap between them. Each level was 53.5mm tall, and the width is 301.59mm. I'm not sure why I chose that width; it just happened to be the width of the images that I stacked next to each other initially. Here are some detailed settings: Pixels Width: 14248 Height: 2528 Size (mm) 301.58 53.51 1200 pixels/Inch The "maximum size" on http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ is the inner diameter, so multiply it by Pi to get the right settings. I print at 0.1mm layer-height (only for the lithophane; for this base, you can use 0.2 or 0.3 depending on your nozzle) using Cura (free is a good price). I'm printing on a Creality CR-10s. If you create something like the top that I made for my parents, you might want to enable "Print Thin Walls," but I didn't do it, and mine could have come out a little more detailed.
