This is a remix of the bottom from Gr33ko's "LithoLamp 5V USB Box" with modifications made by me. To replicate this project, download the files "Top", "Post" and "Diffuser" directly from the original author. Capturing images in low light conditions can be quite challenging, so I opted for capturing screenshots from a video instead. For a more detailed view of how this lamp was built, I recommend watching the associated video on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNxB4XAi4iY For the LED strip used in this project, I sourced it from Amazon at the following link: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B016B9XZO6 (available in packs of 8 or 24 LEDs). Additionally, a USB RGB control device can be purchased from the same retailer: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01MZZHQSY to regulate brightness levels. To create the lithophane images used for this project, I employed the services of http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ with the following settings: Image Settings: - Positive Image - Mirror Image OFF - Flip Image OFF - Refresh on Image Click - Repeat X Count 1 - Repeat Y Count 1 - Mirror Repeat OFF - Flip Repeat OFF Model Settings: - Maximum Size: 80mm - Thickness: 3mm - Border: 0mm (due to the frame) - Thinnest Layer: 1mm - Vectors per Pixel: 4 - Base/Stand Depth: 0 - Curve: 0 Print Settings: - Printer: Monoprice MP Select Mini - Rafts: No - Supports: No - Notes: Cube housing (Top, Bottom, 4x Post, Diffuser) - layer height: 0.175 - Infill: 50% LITHOs: - layer height: 0.0875 - Infill: 100% Post-printing steps include using a smartphone charger (5V / 700mA) or connecting it to a USB cable. The lamp also features a USB LED control for adjusting lighting modes, speed and brightness levels.
