Litho Light Box

Litho Light Box

I designed this litho pane light box to showcase and gift 3D printed lithos. It's a convenient tool that lets me easily display my printed lithos in a unique way. I use the frame customizer from Thingiverse, which is linked below, to customize the frames for my lithos. The light box measures approximately 90mmX115MM. To attach it to the frame, I drill a hole at 90.5x115.5mm and about 2-3MM deep in the back of the frame. Then, I glue the light box to the frame using super glue. Before gluing, I apply aluminum foil tape to the inside of the light box. This helps the tea lights reflect more light onto the litho picture. I use battery-powered LED tea lights to illuminate my lithos. Two tea lights can fit in the designed scale of my light box. You can find the frame customizer I use from Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=54020&code=9b40f444938a2a525affe3a96df5e34a. I print this design in PLA, and supports are not necessary. I set the infill to 10% for this model.
