Lithium Battery Case for 26650
thingiverse
This project aims to create a car battery consisting of 36 Lithium LiFePO4 cells. The 26650 cells (26 x 65mm) fit securely into the top and bottom sections. Some extra space is allocated for balancers. Choose the top section: English or German text language. Final update: I've finalized the design, eliminating the separate wall parts in favor of a single part. If you have printed this battery, let me know your experience! Instructions: This is the largest project I have printed so far. It's recommended to use a heated chamber when printing. The green ABS model in the pictures was printed using an 0.8mm nozzle, 0.4mm layer height, one perimeter and 35% infill. Battery terminals can be installed through the top holes using M8 bolts, which fit tightly. M4 threaded rods are placed along all four edges on both parts to mount the top section securely. After a year of testing in my daily driver, I filled it with resin. However, you don't have to do the same. When handling and using Lithium batteries, KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING. Use this product at your own risk; I won't be responsible for any damage caused.
