This is a simple tool I designed to hold open the lids on the 18th edition metal distribution board flap (consumer units) made by Hager while I perform testing and/or stick on the labels. HOW TO USE:: Hold open the lid, then slide the tool up into position (the lid fits into the groove in the tool with the "LITEWIRE" word facing outwards) then lower the lid until the curved part sits over the top of the screw. To remove, simply lift the lid to the maximum position and slide the tool off the lid again. This tool is designed to fit on either the far left or right as desired. *NOTE: This should not be left fitted in position permanently!*
