Lisam LS-180 / LS-210 GoPro Session Mount (30deg)
thingiverse
A simple GoPro session mount that provides ample space to secure your camera with a battery strap. Two screws firmly attach it over the front of the device, positioning it at a 30-degree angle for optimal viewing. The design accommodates battery straps measuring 20mm x 1.5mm, although some minor adjustment may be necessary to fit them snugly in place. However, this might compromise the overall structure's integrity. It is highly recommended that you protect your GoPro with a lens protector or case due to its exposed position at the front of the craft. I have created a design for a custom case that you may find useful. Additionally, be aware that the mount's positioning could potentially eject your GoPro forward in the event of a crash. While it feels sturdy when secured with a tight battery strap, you might consider adding some velcro or an alternative securing mechanism to keep it firmly in place. I opted not to use any supports during printing and instead chose 100% infill for added durability. The print settings I used were optimized for a flat surface with minimal infill. PETG was my material of choice for this project.
