In Japan, the war ended shortly after the failure of the first flight, and it ended incompletely. The engine uses the propellant (below) that self-ignites by mixing fuel and oxidizer. ・Fuel(C-Stoff, 乙液: "Hydrazine (30%) + Methanol (57%) + Water (13%)", ・Oxidizing agent(T-Stoff, 甲液): "80% hydrogen peroxide solution" Both were dangerous chemical that were difficult to handle because they were powerful drugs. The engine names are known as HWK109-509A (Germany), 特呂二号(Japan). The main components are [A] Power unit (Turbopump, Gearbox, Starter), [B] Combustion Chamber (Injector, Combustion Nozzle, Cooling Device), [C] Metering Device, [D] Steam Generator, [E] PressureRegulator, etc. This time, I made a functional cut model teaching material for “[B] Combustion Chamber” with reference to books and public information on the Internet. A. Features of this model ① Injector (Injection Nozzles) The injector body is divided into two parts to explain the internal passage. ② Combustion Nozzle with Cooling Jacket and Tubes ③ Support Tube (Partial) ④ Fuel and Oxidizer Supply Piping ⑤ Color identification (Light Green: Fuel, Yellow: Oxidizer, light blue: Steam) The following structure has been changed. Welding, Riveting B. Assembly Manual (PDF format, total 14 pages) The detail assembly manual including "Parts-List", "After printing treatment" and "Assembly procedure" are prepared based on "Standard Skill (Filing, Drilling, Tapping and painting)". C. Purchase Parts Information; 1. Screws Micro screws M1.4x3.5L & M1.4x6L - Direct screw-in to 1 mm dia hole (No nut) But if you have the M1.4 Tap, it will be very useful. Screws M2 - See Parts List D. STL file Total STL files are 36 items including the stand and tools. “ws” of last 2 digits of file name means “With Support” special designed. E. Total Net Print Time: Approx. 58 HR - (Estimated as case of PLA, 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.2mm Layer Height, 40% infill and No raft and support) Note: When at actual print, each parameter may be adjusted by your experience. F. Printing settings Raft, Support, Layer Height, Infill: Depending on your experience. My models were printed by "idbox" using with 0.4 nozzle, 1.75 PLA. [Update] 2022.05.15 - Relate URLs added I do hope your success!!
