Liquid Latex Sheeting Test Tray
thingiverse
If you're trying to make custom latex sheeting for garments from liquid latex, then you'll know it's a lot of commitment to go to your garage, and pour out a lot of liquid latex / pigment to form a 1mx2m sheet if you're unsure how the results will look for your fancy new design. So give yourself the confidence by using a 15x15cm tray instead. Why use this tray? Well, in addition to knowing the L / W dimension of it, you'll also know the thickness you wish to create. I've embedded 0.1mm steps on one side so you can pour up to the desired level. each step indicates 0.1mm H, so pour up to the 4th step for the usual 0.4mm sheeting every designer uses or pour up to the eighth step for the 0.8mm that heavy rubber designers use! From this you can use an economical amount of consumables, see if it looks good then once you achieve your results, simply note your amounts you used and transpose those amounts to the size of the actual sheeting you're making. PRINT THIS AT 0.1mm. I know many of you like to print at 0.2mm as default, but this is a small object and won't take long to print. You need 0.1mm layer height for the stepping markers.
