Liquid Bait Ant Trap - For Vertical/Wall Use

Liquid Bait Ant Trap - For Vertical/Wall Use

thingiverse

I'm at my wit's end with these ants and desperately need a pet-safe Ant Bait Trap that I can stick anywhere: walls, baseboards, cabinets - you name it. The ones I've seen here are designed for flat surfaces only because they're not equipped to handle liquid bait without leaking out. So, I came up with this design. It's not the most attractive thing, but it works and I needed a solution ASAP. Maybe later, I'll come back and create a more visually appealing version for year-round use. To set it up, apply double-sided tape or command strips to secure it to the wall. Refill the bait well with liquid Terro from the sides. If you need to clean it out, a Q-tip should do the trick - just be sure to keep the bait fresh since ants tend to ignore old, solidified bait. The slots on top are narrow because I'm dealing with tiny sugar/crazy ants, but if you have bigger ants, just let me know and I'll widen them for you.
