Lipstick/hardware case with 12+1 slots
thingiverse
UPDATE: I have also uploaded an upgraded version of this design at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2351759. This lipstick case features a rack and pinion system that elevates the slots as you open the box. The lid locks itself in position once fully opened or closed, requiring you to lift the hinge to close it. NOTES TO PRINTERS: PLA works perfectly for printing this design. To assemble the case, print Assembly01 - Box02-1.STL twice and the rest only once. For optimal results, print Assembly01_-_Box13-1.STL with a layer height of less than 0.100mm. While other parts can be printed at lower resolutions, it makes no significant difference. To ensure smooth operation, sand the rails thoroughly before assembling the case. Applying lubricant to the rails is optional, but recommended for optimal performance. Similarly, welding the hinge pins to the lid is also optional. When installing the trays into the shell, make sure to do so before attaching the pinions (quarter gears). Ensure that these are installed in the correct orientation, as they are not identical. Printing the pinions with an infill of greater than 90% is highly recommended for a durable finish.
