LiPo for Craftsman battery

I got a battery-powered Craftsman drilling machine from someone, but it had one major issue - the battery wouldn't hold a charge at all. I figured I could breathe new life into the device by repurposing some old LiPo batteries that were collecting dust in my workshop. I'd been using them for drones, but they're still good for more than just hovering around. So, I decided to hack together a solution using these leftover batteries. First things first, I opened up the 12V Craftsman battery and removed its internal cells. Then, I wired an XT60 connector inside so that I could plug in one of my 4-cell LiPo batteries - which, I admit, was a bit of a cheat since it should be a 3-cell setup for a 12V equivalent. But hey, I didn't have any spare 3-cell batteries lying around. I ended up using a 4-cell, 4000mAh battery, but the casing is quite large, so you could easily swap it out with an even bigger one if needed. Just keep in mind that you won't be able to use the Craftsman charger anymore - you'll need to open up the case and plug directly into a proper charger for your new battery setup.
