LiPo case for electric Longboard
thingiverse
Hey there, I've built a case for my 6s LiPo setup. So there are three parts in this whole case. Starting with the case itself, it's designed to hold two Turnigy 3S 5000 mAh 30C Lipos comfortably. There should be enough room for them without any trouble. I'll print it this week and upload more information about it later. I'm using an XT-90 Connector and a 6S Balance connector output. If you want an XT-60 instead, just let me know with your measurements and I can update the case design to accommodate it. The dimensions of one LiPo pack are: 149mm x 49 mm x 27mm. Now for the case cover, as you might have seen, there are eight total holes that are 3.5mm in diameter. You'll need to buy some woodscrews to attach the case to your board. The other side has a small attachment to hold the case on securely, just like the other holes, this attachment also has 3.5mm holes that you can screw it onto your board with. To build the whole case, you will need: - 10 Woodscrews with a diameter of around 3 - 3.5 mm - Silicone sealant - Epoxy glue UPDATE (30.03.18): I've cut the parts so you don't have to worry about cutting them yourself. All parts are now ready to print on a standard build plate and can be assembled easily. WARNING: The Case has to be glued together properly, and every small gap must be sealed with silicone to prevent any water damage while driving. Also, I'm not responsible for any damage made to your Board or your LiPo packs! Printing and using this case is entirely up to you.
