I'm sick and tired of CG issues caused by my battery moving just a centimeter or so, so I designed a custom case for my 3S battery pack and secured it firmly into my nano Talon. It wasn't an easy feat; I've been tweaking this design for the fifth iteration now. The original strap fits neatly under the middle section. First, attach the box to the wooden plate using small drops of glue only. Make sure not to glue the strap as well. I placed the box on the right side, but it didn't experience any sideways drift due to that; however, I attribute this to my consistent flying with a gyro balancer. Of course, you can position it in the middle just as easily.
