LIPO battery mount with alarm bag
thingiverse
This is a high-capacity LIPO battery mount designed specifically for my robot car, "Mr. Stitson". The detailed design ensures that replacing the battery does not require removal of the robot's cover. Additionally, this mount incorporates a secure compartment for storing a LIPO alarm device. Moreover, the connection between the alarm and the battery is straightforward. The innovative design of the mount features two connected components joined together by two 3M screws, but only one of these parts directly attaches to Mr. Stitson's chassis. Replacing the battery involves first disconnecting the XT60 connector and removing any security measures that secure it in place, such as a nut on top of the screw head which also helps to lock the M3 connector in place from outside by putting the LIPO connector inside this nut. Once the XT60 is safely disconnected, simply pull outwards slightly so you can free the part with the connection that holds onto your existing battery pack. You'll then find yourself face-to-face with an empty mounting hole where one end was holding down to its bracket underneath or at least making it easier without screws if not entirely eliminating them from this design but they serve well enough for those needing such space taken away while doing just about everything else. It's also adaptable for other battery types aside from XT60.
