I wanted a custom battery holder to prevent my battery from sliding sideways within the velcro straps, while also minimizing weight. To achieve this, I modified the original design by cutting it in half and rejoining it to form two strap points with no top surface. This allowed me to attach the battery securely without adding any extra material. I attached the holder to the base of my quadcopter using cable ties. The result has been excellent for my Turnigy 2.2 2200mah 3 cell 11.1v batteries. The dimensions of the battery are 34mm wide, 107mm long, and 25mm tall, but since there's no top surface, these measurements aren't crucial. The total size of the holder is 115mm x 41.4mm x 13mm. The Tray itself weighs 14g, while the complete assembly with velcro straps adds an extra 4g.
