A custom holder is made for a standard 3S LiPo Battery with a Low Voltage Tester on top to keep wires safely out of reach from props. The holder and low voltage tester can also be obtained as individual items. The design was printed using PolyWood filament produced by PolyMaker, which I had received in return for backing the Kickstarter project some time ago. This custom piece was specifically designed and printed with an eye on submitting a colorFabb entry for the 2015 time-lapse contest. Printing Settings: Printer Manufacturer: RepRap Model: Prusa i3 Raft: No raft Support Material: Yes Resolution: 0.25mm Infill Percentage and Pattern: 40% honeycomb with rectilinear arrangement Additional Details: Layer height 0.25mm; 1st layer thickness 150%. Solid infill layers appear every 10th layer. Other printing options: Perimeter shell layers: vertical Seam position randomized Solid infill every 10 layers. Only retract when crossing perimeters. 3 loops, with a skirt length of 6mm. Honeycomb pattern used for supports Z-distance from the build plate: 0.2 mm Printing speed: 30mm/s; small extruder speed 30mm/s; perimeter support speed set to 80% 40mm/s infill; 75% solid layer; 50% top solid infill Support print speed: 20mm/s; interface layers print at 40mm/s Bridge print speed set to 50mm/s
