Created between 1875 and 1882 by Auguste Cain, it now takes its permanent place alongside many other renowned animal sculptures in the Jardin des Tuileries. Cain's notable works are also showcased on Scan The World! A skilled artist, he honed his craft under the guidance of Francois Rude, Guionnet, and Pierre-Jules Mene. This remarkable object is part of a groundbreaking initiative called "Scan The World".
