This is a support and insulator for a Lionel Sounds of Steam sound board, used in Lionel tenders in the 1980s, It fits snuggly over the tabs inside the tender and prevents the board from touching the metal of the tender, The board will fit in the slots. Depending on how much solder reached the sides of the board, the slots may need some sanding. With the board installed in the holder, the holes in the holder are slid over the metal tabs in the tender. These holes are designed to fit tightly, so the board and holder don't move around inside of the tender
