This is the genuine article that people seem to be ripping off, sometimes altering it to pass as their own (admittedly some of these versions have turned out even better than my original attempt). It was first shared on January 6, 2016 - as you can see, this pre-dates all the copies floating around. Below is what it looks like with minimal frills; designed for simplicity and ease, it has indeed been re-used in other contexts, such as a core component in the 'hairy lion' frequently found on various 3D printing forums and websites. I have no power to stop others from sharing this work; here it remains, freely available.
