This is based from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2774945 Get the chain here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3179124 See this thing for a 60mm Fan mount So I blew up another cheap sensor and ordered a BLTouch. I do not yet have the sensor so made this from the drawings. I will be updating later with instructions for firmware and offsets that this will use. It's meant to use Plastite or other self threading 3mm screws to mount the fan and touch sensor. I suggest m3x12 screws for both and you will need some m3x12 screws and nuts to attach the sensor to the mounting plate. The two clamping screws use Socket Head M4x30 or 35mm with nuts. The head cannot be hex like a bolt or it will not fit in the recess. I found socket head best for torque and easy of use. For the fan mounts I used M3x30m with nuts. All parts are included! I just rendered it without the back plane on because Solidworks was being weird about it. First off here is the BLtouch page: https://www.antclabs.com/bltouch There you will find all the information including Marlin firmware settings. For instructions on how to add RAMPS to your printer see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2784817 and for how to install Marlin on the Anet A8 see https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2783450 With this mounting you need to set the offsets as follows: define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0 // X offset: -left +right [of the nozzle] define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -20 // Y offset: -front +behind [the nozzle] define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -1 // Z offset: -below +above And the travel limits are: // Travel limits after homing (units are in mm) define X_MAX_POS 240 define X_MIN_POS -10 define Y_MAX_POS 230 define Y_MIN_POS -13 define Z_MAX_POS 230 define Z_MIN_POS 0 You also must set // Set the boundaries for probing (where the probe can reach). define LEFT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 20 define RIGHT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 200 define BACK_PROBE_BED_POSITION 200 define FRONT_PROBE_BED_POSITION 20 The rest of the settings needed are detailed on https://www.antclabs.com/bltouch Update 4/26/2018 Made it more compact and closer to extruder. Updated settings and print guide. Update 5/7/18 Tweaked the spacing and fit. Should all work out easier now! See it printed here: https://youtu.be/cPWG_BTl1As Update 1/4/2020 I moved around the mount for the BLTouch and made a recess so it can go up into the mount further allowing you to use the mounting springs.
