Lion head architectural decoration adorns the side of the Canadian Bank of Commerce Building, situated within Commerce Court West in Toronto. Completed in 1931 as the tallest building in the British Empire, this skyscraper showcases a Romanesque revival style design. Following the merger between the Bank of Commerce and Imperial Bank in 1961, this building assumed the role of headquarters for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).
