Belgian sculptor Jean-Joseph Jacquet designed the iconic model of two lions standing proudly on either side of the majestic colonnade's staircase. These impressive lions vigilantly guard the grand entrance to the imposing structure, symbolizing the trend of economic downturn in the stock market. In fact, they are the Belgian representation of the renowned 'Bears and Bulls' analogy. This remarkable object is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking non-profit initiative pioneered by MyMiniFactory. Through this innovative project, we are creating a comprehensive digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for everyone to access at no cost. "Scan The World" is an open-source community effort, inviting anyone with fascinating items to contribute by emailing stw@myminifactory.com to learn how they can participate. Scanned using photogrammetry techniques and processed with Agisoft PhotoScan software.
