This to-scale model of a lion is a replica of a sculpture situated in the gardens of Fredensborg Palace, located in Hillerød, Copenhagen. The sculpture serves as a guardian, positioned on either side of the palace gates. A duplicate of this work is now housed in Christian IV's Brewhouse at the Lapidarium of Kings.
