Linus van Pelt

Linus van Pelt, a main character from Charles Schulz's popular comic strip Peanuts, is Charlie Brown's closest friend and the younger brother of Lucy van Pelt. Despite being young, Linus exhibits exceptional intelligence and wisdom, often serving as the strip's philosopher and theologian. The model's proportions are carefully designed to match my existing models of Charlie Brown and Lucy van Pelt. If you have the correct filament colors, no painting is required. The 140mm tall model requires no supports, making it a straightforward print. Don't let the number of pieces or lengthy notes intimidate you; this model prints quickly and assembles easily. Enjoy building Linus! Print Settings Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10% Notes: Refer to the helpful printing and assembly tips below. Building the model Colors: Black: Hair, Eyes, Mouth, Eyebrows, Pants, Shirt (10 pieces) Beige or Flesh: Head, Arm Left, Arm Right, Legs Brown: Shoes Light Blue: Blanket Red: Socks, Shirt (12 pieces) Any color: Hidden pieces (Head Pins, Shirt Pins) Printing and assembly tips 1. As with most of my models, no supports are required. 2. The arms have a small base, so I used a brim on those two pieces to ensure stability. 3. Clean any first-layer squish if you experience issues joining parts; the model should fit together smoothly when printed cleanly or with slight first-layer squish. Assembly tips: 1. Left and right eyes and eyebrows are interchangeable. 2. Position leg holes in the pants toward the back for proper alignment. 3. The left and right shoe parts are not interchangeable, but easy to distinguish. 4. Take care when placing the sleeves of the shirt; they are not interchangeable. 5. When assembling the shirt, position the shirt pin toward the back; the side of each piece facing down will always face the body as you slide it through the shirt_pin. 6. Curl individual hair strands like a ribbon to achieve the desired look; start from the 'root' and curl in the same direction for a spider-leg effect. 7. Glue the head, blanket, and arm left together with the body at once; this ensures stability on the shoes and prevents balancing issues. Refer to the assembly diagrams in the pictures section for step-by-step instructions (I'm unable to load them here). The model is designed to be glued together securely.
