Marca Clement & Gilmer Lanterne Universelle, Paris, circa 1910 • A metal sheet box with a chimney on top. • Inside contains a system that burns alcohol. • The burner that causes combustion is regulated in intensity to generate more or less illumination for the projection. • A sliding support in front of the box's opening where slides are placed with images to be projected. • Objective with a flat lens that enlarges the image size. • A screw on the objective that focuses or defocuses the projection. • Side vents in the box and brass base to prevent fires and maintain cool operation. *This model is a replica of the cinematographic equipment from the Filmoteca de la UNAM collection, modeled by: Benjamín Joel Álvarez Berdón, student enrolled in the Program of Social Service of the General Directorate of Cinematographic Activities - Filmoteca UNAM.
