Linteau III at the Guimet museum, Paris
myminifactory
This piece is crafted on sandstone and dates back to the 11th century, currently showcased at the Guimet museum in Cambodia. It originates from Khmer and features Shiva and Parvati, his consort, riding the bull Nandi in the center. A volunteer used a combination of roughly 40 images to create this digital scan for us. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory that aims to establish a global digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks. These assets are available for free to the public through Scan The World, an open-source community effort. If you have unique items around you that you'd like to contribute, email stw@myminifactory.com to find out how you can be a part of this project.
