Linked Tori

Inspired by Helaman Ferguson's Four Canoes sculpture, two interlocking tori can be created and then rotated inside each other. I modified the design to allow it to be printed without support material, and it features a tighter fit than Helaman's original sculpture - evident in the angle at which the tori intersect. However, I'm not working with granite, so adjustments were necessary. My printer has a maximum overhang capacity of 75 degrees, so the bottom of the torus is flattened to serve as a base and the inner part of the torus is tapered at a 75-degree angle.
