Linkable Elephants - Letters & Numbers (Redesign/Remix)
thingiverse
These playful elephants are perfectly connected (tail-to-trunk) so it is easy to spell words and write numbers by linking them together. CAD files like AMF, STEP, and STL are included, along with the FreeCAD source file, allowing you to customize the elephants to suit your preferences. Both the AMF and STL files are formatted in a way that most slicing software should be able to identify each elephant as composed of three distinct components. For instance, PrusaSlicer has no trouble recognizing them as separate objects made from different parts. However, if you use the STL files with PrusaSlicer, you will need to split them using Split to Parts (do not use Split to Objects!). Credits This design was inspired by one created by Michael Cheshire (go check out his designs on MyMiniFactory, Pinshape, and Thingiverse and show him some appreciation!). I reworked the base-shape in FreeCAD so it aligns with Michael's original design. The elephants were designed to be printed in multiple colors. The numbers/letters as well as the elephant's eye are separate parts, allowing you to print them in different hues.
