I thoroughly enjoyed the original wooden sword that I remixed and refashioned, but I desired something more substantial. I carefully drilled a hole from the tip all the way to the pommel to accommodate a 3/4" dowel rod. I relied on wood glue for a sturdy assembly, and strategically applied dots of super glue to assist in aligning things while the wood glue dried. I also reimagined the handle to feature four distinct sections similar to the original video game wooden sword's design. Once again, I was captivated by the first version enough to create my own, but this time with a unique twist.
