Linguin

This project is a 2D-3D model Linux operating system logo featuring Tux the penguin, the company mascot, measuring 3.5 cm by 6.6 cm. Comprised of four distinct layers, each with its own unique characteristics and design elements. The first layer showcases intricate inset stars at a depth of 0.2 cm, adding an extra layer of visual interest to the overall design. The second layer encompasses the entire model minus the stars, creating a clean and minimalist aesthetic. In the third layer, attention is drawn to the letters and body of both penguins, precision-crafted at a height of 0.4 cm. Finally, in the fourth layer, the wings of the small penguin and the head of Tux are carefully detailed at a depth of 0.5 cm, adding a touch of personality to the design. Collaborating with my partner on this project was an invaluable experience, and I highly recommend checking out their contribution: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2596790 Upon review, it's clear that our initial piece encountered some challenges and setbacks. The size we printed was too small for the printer to accurately execute details such as snowflakes, penguin feet, and the smaller penguin. To overcome this issue, I strongly advise increasing the size of this design by at least 150% to ensure a more refined and detailed final product.
