I created these cable troughs to lay alongside the track on my 7mm/ft or 1/43 scale O gauge model railway. These are a common sight all across the railway network carrying essential cables for signals and other systems. There are files with lengths of 1 to 8 trough sections and each section represents a length of 1m on the real railway. I have also created a set of open troughs with separate lids that can be combined with these closed which you could model with the cables visible.
