This is a meticulously crafted model line side cabinet designed to expertly conceal an InfraRed detector that accurately registers a passing train for an innovative Arduino signalling project. The scale is precisely 7mm per foot, perfectly suited for 0-16.5 narrow gauge trains and is thoughtfully designed around the widely used Collision Avoidance Sensor commonly sold for robotics applications and beyond. Consequently, rescaling from 7mm/foot to 1:43 would be extremely challenging. The LED and sensor were first carefully remounted to optimally point upwards from the PCB plane.
