Liner Lock Pocket Knife
thingiverse
This project aimed to produce a 3D-printable pocket knife featuring a liner lock. The drop-point blade is 2.7" long, accessible with one hand, and equipped with a thumb stud. To unlock the liner lock, simply push it to the side with your thumb. A prototype has been successfully printed, demonstrating solid lockup. Future versions may include a lanyard clip and alternative blade profiles. The pictured knife is an earlier version that lacks refinements. Print all parts at 100% infil; only the liner requires external support and a raft. Assemble by placing each part as described in the instructions, and use glue to secure pins. Note: this design is intended for discussion purposes only; it's not to be used as a weapon or for any malicious action. The current version is v1, with future releases (v2) expected to include a rear pin, integrated blade washer, and minor liner adjustments.
