Linearly replicable fan panelThe model allows to build a rack of common 120 mm PC cooling fans. The design is modular and the elements can be assembled in the required number, allowing to build a small tray with the number of equiments you need.Print instructions and materialsTo build a rack prints the following modules:A Puzzle-Body peace for each fan in the rackTwo air intakes for each fan, you have 2 long, 2 short, or mix the two typesOne foot end of type A, this is used to install the power connectorOne foot end of type BFoot links to connect the pairs of fans at the bottomSmall link pieces to connect the fan at the top, 1 per pair is sufficient, it is possible to install 2 to make the model stifferFor each fan 4 M4 screws, 40 mm length suggested, including bolts and nutsA 12V jack coaxial jack connector, with 1 mm external diameterExample: for a panel with 3 cooling fans you need to print: 1 type A foot, 1 type B foot, 2 connection feet, 3 bottom body elements, 2 or 4 small link pieces, 6 air conduct (same length or mixed according the needs).Assembly instructionsTo assemble the rack you require the 120 mm fans, the same models used for PC airflow, a 12 V DC power supply, and a coaxial connector to be installed. It is important to wire the fans to distribute the power collected by the coaxial power connector between the fans. According the type of fans you selected the best way to distribute the power can change:Molex connectors are stackable and all fans can be connected together, while only the first one has to be connected to the power supply.More recent connectors are designed to connected to a PCB, in this case it probably convenient to use a PCB soldering a set of pins for each fan, connecting positive and negative of each set together. After testing the circuit the each fan can be installed to a body, hiding the wire below the fan in the main puzzle body. It suggested to lay the wire inside the body elements, placing 1 fan at the time and place the screws to fix it at the bottom. Place the foot with the jack hole on the select end. Use hot glue, or other adhesives, to fix the jack inside the hole and to install the feet.Mount the air conducts and the small top link elements with the remaining screws.
